Gas and the mint are paid in ETH on Robinhood Chain. Bridge ETH from Ethereum with the official bridge. Deposits take a few minutes. Keep a little extra for gas.

Provenance and fairness
The full art and traits are public before mint, so the draw, not the art, is what is random. Hashes: SHA‑256 of traits.json, and SHA‑256 of the sorted list of the 333 image hashes.

Do I need to own stocks?
No. The game reads public prices to set your pet's mood. You never buy, sell or connect a brokerage account.
Is a pet a stock token?
No. A pet is a collectible. It holds no share, tracks no price for you and pays nothing. The ticker only sets its mood in the game.
Is this made by Robinhood?
No. Uppies is an independent project built on Robinhood Chain. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Robinhood Markets, Inc.
Which pet will I get?
A random one from the 333, picked right after your mint. You see it within seconds.
How was rarity assigned?
Every trait has a fixed count. A script dealt the traits to all 333 pets from the public seed stonkpet-genesis, and no pet was edited by hand. Rank uses the eight art traits, not Ticker. Pets with the same score share a rank, shown as tied.
What does the ticker do?
Each pet follows one US stock or fund. In the game, its daily move sets the pet's mood. Mood is entertainment, not a trading signal.
Is the game free?
Yes. To play with your own pet, connect the wallet that holds it. Playing never costs gas. Without a wallet you can try the game with three demo pets. Progress is saved in your browser, so a new owner of a pet starts fresh.
What do I need to mint?
A wallet such as MetaMask or Rabby and some ETH on Robinhood Chain. The mint is one transaction; we never ask for approvals or signatures.
Where is the art stored?
On IPFS. The image and metadata CIDs are posted under Provenance once uploaded.
